Were the allies the only armies that had smoke grenades?
Serious question because as it stands, Shock and Rifleman smoke makes an mg34/42 useless. The OKW & Wehr have suppression then retreat.

In case of players like Ivan its a little bit more then just the unit itself.
Pick a stand and stick with it... and if you're going to half-concede a point, just admit the mistake and move on.
Ivan doesn't face 'clueless scrubs' as you very politely put it, he uses maxim spam, and he quite often wins. You claimed (to effect) that maxim spam is ineffective against anything more than 'clueless scrubs'. Snipers, or whether he is in the top 10, or whether, you, me, or my grandmother are in the top 10, are irrelevant.
I'm not claiming maxims are too effective, or ineffective, or just effective enough... just pointing out a complete lack of consistency on your part. Nothing against you personally, of course, just your arguments.
