Hey all!

I've tried and I've tried, but I cannot seem to find how to modify maps that I have downloaded through Public Match. They save as a .SGA file, when WorldBuilder can only open .SGB files. Relic makes no sense sometimes. I miss the days of Starcraft Campaign Editor where everything was much simpler, and better. Anyways, All I want to do is to modify this map:

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=207051225

to have a POP CAP limit of 1000 for each side (500 each player).

If anybody out there can please help me out by doing this, or by telling my how to, I would be so grateful that I may just have my faith restored in online communities! ;P

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,

Alex

If it is a custom map, you should find the map in workshop, and contact the original author and make the request. Editing other people's work is looked down upon.

Thanks for covering this, Srinidhalaya.

Alex, as has already been said, you should always ask the permission of the map's original owner before attempting to make changes. Any uploaded maps without this permission will be flagged and removed by Steam.

Most mappers are happy to fulfill requests. I am at least. It also lets them know what maps are catching the eye of the public, which helps in the future. :)
