I still don't get it how the OH and Soviets will fit in with regard to the performance on the battlefield...? Oh and the US base is ugly...

How long is the set up / pack up time on the Infrared Half-Trackm and what's the health and armour like?

It's about 1 second or so, very short. I haven't really looked at health or anything but I imagine it's the same as the Ostheer hafltrack. It doesn't have any other abilities.

Another question: Sturmtiger. The reload is supposed to be mega long, but can you 'control' the reload?

Eg. Fire the shell, and then evacuate the ST to your base, and then reload it there.

Yes. The reload is an 'ability'. Firing the gun is an 'ability'. So when you fire the gun, you can reload it. The reload takes a while and the tank is incredibly vulnerable while you do it. If you hit it with a tank in the rear while it's reloading, it gets abandoned. It is a great unit for urban maps or very dense maps.

Can Infantry kill the crew members while they reload in order to force a decrew?

Who says it needs to come out? It could just express mail a gift as long as you have the address!

Perhaps its range is similar to brummbar?
Ever thought of that? :P

I don't think so. I shot at a Sturmtiger with Riflemen while it was reloading once, and nothing happened, so I assume that only tanks and AT-Guns can decrew it.

Well he said a blizzard, so it can still fire from the fog due to halved visibility!

I've captured one after one hit with a 'zooka. I also managed to use a demo charge on on (paratroop ability).

I'm not really anticipating the costly King Tiger all that much. I remember the unwieldly KT from vcoh 'Terror' doctrine. And of course, we all experienced the original 'Tiger Ace' with its slower movement, double HP and damage.

So what are the thoughts about the effectiveness of the KT?

It's like all the other super-heavies tbh. It needs some baby-sitting to stop it getting swarmed, but a KT with a couple of armoured units escorting it is a juggernaut.

I played a 1 v 1 with a friend where I managed to kite one using smoke and a couple of Jacksons. I lost both, but got the KT to very low health and took it out with rockets.

any first hand experience about the KT's damage against tanks ? Does it hurt armor like an Elefant ? ie two shots against the medium tanks ? Did anyone notice if they gave it a range buff, since resident CoH2 PAK 43's have special range value as of now.. How much more durable does it seem in comparison to Tiger I ? 15,20,25% ?! Thank you !

Eh? How can you fail with the vcoh KT.. its a battering ram. All you have to do is hold the closest VP to your base, and contest the middle one until the KT can come and slowly push on that middle flag. Its not hard to use so long as your entire army is supporting it.. it must use less micro than almost anything.

If you try to use as anything other than a slow moving bunker/88 your doing it wrong.

KT is a fatter cat, period.

Can't talk shit or they say NDA crap again.

Oh wait, you can talk Sturmtiger and KT now?
OK, KT is a fatter cat, nothing more. :p
I definitely prefer the thinner one.

Sturmtiger is a smaller but even fatter cat, slow and shitting a verrrrrrrry big slow shit, expect an AVRE operate everything in matrix mode.
Most useless unit in COH history, at least in current state.

Just noticed on the OKW teaser trailer, where the 3 KTs are attacking an urban area, as they move past a burning building, the flames beautifully light up the tanks.

Is this kind of lighting part of the standard game? Or kind of new? Because if so, I really need/want to upgrade my PC! Looks so awesome.

Some of my opinion about the US:

I think whatever I said has been stream so no problem to me right ?

Wow a lot of NDA breaking went on last night. We aren't allowed to talk about the units in the stream and even if you did we definetely aren't allowed to talk about balance (Kyle).

It's not a grenade launcher per se but the crew man throwing a smoke grenade through the barrel.
