Hey,
here's a video where I build the tier 1 tent, press W to buy a scout car and witness the base building get cancelled, yet all the resources are gone. If you watch carefully you can see the building actually gets completed and the unit icons appear in the bottom right grid. Apparently something is lagging behind and the game registers a cancel command.
I assume it's the same thing when you cancel grenades at the last second and don't get the munitions back.

Yeah AFAIK bug has been around for a while, at least a month plus, I remember watching Jamin on stream and he did the same thing, except T2 and he lost the fuel as well lol.

This has been happening for a long time. It is one of many building related bugs that really screw the player. I am fairly certain this has been reported many times, but you should report it to relic nonetheless.
