Not really a pic, but a story about one of the fighter pilots scrambled against UA Flight 93; whats particular in this story is that the F-16's were not armed, making it tantamount to a suicide mission.

It always strikes me as pretty funny that Governments can spend so much money on defence agencies, the military etc, whilst telling us that there isn´t enough money to fix hunger, houses for the homeless and the list goes on.
