And yes i know there is no official modding support yet, but would that actually stop us from planing and/or brainstorming? and if a group of individuals would band together to create a "expansion-sized"mod that would take time planing and creating assets for the mod, and if say relic would see a organized team of community members start creating a mod i think that missing modding support would come sooner rather than later, just saying...

Since there doesn't seem to be a general modding discussion thread here so let's start one.

thing is, there where mod teams working during the alpha already, but relic doesnt seem to care about the mod community at all.
Mod support was said to be part of the game long before release, but the only thing that happened was that mods got blocked at release.
The community found a way to mod last year, and some weeks later it also got blocked.
10 months since release and during the whole time there was not even the smallest ammount of support for modders, relic just did what they could to prevent modding and by doing that they pretty much killed the mod community.
After release it was said that we will hear about mods in the next weeks, after that it was soon, and now its somewhere in the future.
