Hey, I usually play russians but after playing against so much piospam I decided to try it myself and holy shit is it ever easy. They only cost 200 mp! I though conscripts were cheap, haha. Anyway so I built maybe 8-10 pioneers and then just swarmed & stole maxims and mortars to my heart's content. You have so much capping power that your opponent can't build barely any vehicles. At one point I thought I was screwed when he had a KV8 rush my base but luckily I called a Tiger right at that moment.
I have seen people try to piospam straight into tigerspam but I think fast-teching straight to T4 gives you a bit more variety without having to wait for 10cps.

I know this strat is pretty cheap and probably pios will get nerfed eventually, but it is absolutely how insane how easy it is to win with this strat. I myself have a hard time countering it. I saw Cataclaw get stomped by the piospam->tigerspam and then played the same spammer and conscriptspam & kv8'd him to death. I guess you have to fight fire with fire?

You got lucky that your opponent didn't go T1 (you have mentioned stealing "maxims and mortars to your own heart")

It's making the german side look cheap and retarded with this spam tactic.
I like more cinematic battles...so seeing 5-6 pios battling soviet forces is...just... cant describe how idiot it is.
