Can't get fullscreen to work

So when I start the game, the screen goes fullscreen but is totally black (i can still hear the sound). After I get to the main menu, i can get the game to windowed mode but if I try to switch back to full screen, it is just black and flashes a little bit of windows borders (like the game window was maximized)?

Problem solved. Teamviewer running the same time was the problem!

You should be able to fix this and still have team viewer running. At least for me, I had to disable some thing to do with team viewer and specific applications. Say on your browser, there will be a small icon to the left of minimise. If you click on that and you can disable it for all apps. Game should run fine with that disabled even with team viewer running
