Hey you guys I have a question.

Is there a way to make water on two different levels? I'm making a map at the beach and want to make a river on higher ground than the beach itself but when i try the whole beach gets flooded does anyone know how to prevent this?

thanks in advance

When you place water, it will usually be at least 2 metres high, which can be changed by holding the H key and clicking/dragging the water tap you placed. This water will cover any area of the map of the same height or lower.

You can have as many water levels as you want in a map, but they must be contained! If a higher one has a chance to spill out over your terrain, it will cover the entire map.

Try making a small pond to see what I mean. Lower an area of terrain and place water in it. If it is surrounded my land that is higher than it, it won't spill over. If you want a river and the sea in the same map, then this river must have closed edges everywhere.
