Countering PG Blob + Air Superiority

Hey guys,

I often play 3vs3 with my friends and yesterday we encountered some Germans on Rostow almost only spamming PG's with and without shrecks + the planes from the Air Superiority Doctrine. We dominated them in early game, but they could manage to build lots of munition caches to provide the munition needed for their playstyle.
But we really wondered how we can counter this (lost the game, no replay :( ) because Artillery or shocks were almost useless due to Stuka + the pin plane. Later some tanks arrived but our SU's and tanks got shut down very fast cuz of dem PG's :D .

What are your experiences facing this playstyle?

KV-8, that's all you need to counter PGrens.
Also you can call IS 2 because it may kill whole squad at 1 shot.

IMO, the best commander to counter this is Terror Tactic.
It has propaganda artillery to send pgren blob back home, KV8, Shocks and ML20 howitzer. A powerful IL2 bombing strike is awesome as well.
To fight Air Superiority commander you need to go T2 plus T3. Get M5 (two is better) and upgrade it to quad ASAP. T2 will still provide some decent anti tank defences, coupled with T34 ram you might hold against panthers just fine.
Have ML 20 pounding enemies muni caches to cut their resource income. Concentrate on gaining muni points to reduce plane spamming.
Since we are talking about 3vs3 games, make sure your buddies will go T4. Pretty much you only need one team member who will dedicate his effort on pinning/ bombarding pgrens with propaganda, ramming German tanks with T34s and keeping his quad M5s alive.
Of course, it also depends on luck, but I would say that Pgrens+ air superiority combo is mostly winning due soviet players miscommunication. A solid team of three should not have any problems with this.

Meh, they are cheap and only make one pass. It's not very likely that even two quads will do anything to the planes before they fire their one and only salvo.

they defenitely get atleast a few planes, because they can fire pretty far in the air, it's better than nothing.

the quads out range the bazookas quads are uber powerful this patch from what ive seen.

and M5 can reinforce. Too bad, T3 provides with pretty lame anti tank capabilities. So ZiS 3 is the must!
