(4 - 6) Kummersdorf Proving Grounds

Welcome back folks to my latest venture, a complete recreation of my old EF map, Kummersdorf.

"Hidden away in the forests of Brandenburg, Kummersdorf hosted the Third Reich's greatest military secrets, and was one of the last icons of its power to be crushed underfoot by Soviet forces. Over the course of the past 16 years, Kummersdorf had made itself a name as the Wehrmacht's proving grounds: not one rocket, rifle or tank was cleared for production until it was vigorously tried, tested and, occasionally, destroyed in the process. As weary Soviet forces entered the dense and hostile forests on April 4th, 1945, they were met with scarce resistance, where soldiers, workers and technicians of Kummersdorf had begun to pull the long-abandoned corpses of captured British, American and Soviet tanks from the ruins, in an attempt to hold back the inevitable, just a little longer."

This ruined facility hosts a wide variety of combat encounters: from close-quarters in the ruins themselves, and ranged counter-attacks on the muddy riverbanks, to scorched earth in the forests.

Teams will be forced to work together to hold each of the Victory Points, where water and mud are overwhelming factors in the war of attrition.
