Steam Error code 16 CoH2 Workshop Topic Closed!
Hey guys,
Meanwhile I created my first 4vs4 multiplayer map.
The map is successfully exported to the game and can be played by myself against AI without any problems. But when I try to publish the map via workshop, there is an Error code 16 showing up and I am not able to publish the map.
(translation should be: "process failed with error code 16: time is expired")
It would be very kind of you, if somebody could help me to solve this problem.
Problems with publishing map via Workshop. Please help!

Did you check the steam support/faq for error 16?

Yes, I did. But it did not realy help me.
Although I am able to publish an empty map via the workshop.
I did this a view times and later stamped the completed map into the empty ones to fix this problem. Final result was that the workshop did not update the empty workshop maps showing the same Error code.
The map size is about 6MB.

1 cup of coffee and 1 cigerette solved the problem!
Here is the link Troubleshooting Network Connectivity from the steam support that helped me after searching a while.
And furthermore the steam link to Incomplete Installation Errors.
The Error code 16 seems to be caused by the Wireless LAN and/or the router and/or the anti-virus programme (in my case).
Here is what I did:
1. Disabled my anti-virus programme for 10 Min.
2. Opened Steam, CoH2 and published the map without problems via the workshop.
Thanks to Brummbaer for his reply!
