Hey guys,

I might be dating myself a bit here, but is there any IRC channel setup for coh2.org? nothing kills downtime like a good old IRC chat

yeah i was thinking of that but IRC can be more subtle at times, like when you're sitting in a staff meeting or a lecture lol

We really should set up a channel for coh2.org, if enough ppl will know how to use such l33t software. AdilRC is better client imo.

real men do it from the command line(irssi) but whatever works, some common clients are mIRC, xchat, kvirc, etc... ive never tried AdilRC but it looks similar to mIRC should be good

It's the much sexier twin of mIRC, they are pretty much similiar interface wise.

meh we have a chatbox i doubt anyone would use it. though i would if other people would.

perhaps if it were integrated with the site more peoople would use it. (as people are inherently lazy.)

Somekind of web IRC thingy would be easy to implement, where you only have to type your nick and connect. Also add simple instructions on how to get at the channel with an actual client. In my experience community channels gets populated fairly quick and if not, we can always circle jerk allday erryday.

If you're getting hacked just get a friend to jump onto the same keyboard for extra protection or just pull out the monitor plug.
