50% of the times Soviet infantry shouts "Oorah" is to run to the nearest cover or building or running back to base.

76. A halftrack contains an unlimited number of replacements within its cargo area.

77. Tiger tanks never actually broke down or ran out of fuel or anything silly. They were just tactically inferior to soviet armour...

78. Sherman tanks won the war for the Red army.

89. Soviets conscripts often locked themselves in their Americans allies tanks while the regular crew was out repairing. Since the lock was really complicated while all tanks were pretty easy to drive (automatic shifting) the american tank crews allowed this to happen.

90. Americans won't bring out tanks unless a Major is in the vicinity.

91. Sturmioniers and Volksgrenadiers were used only in the Western Front until June 4th, 2014.

92. There was a thing called Obersoldaten, or "Upper soldiers". They were apparently super tough troops and had helmets that look like turtle shells.

93. The Germans in France used trucks as bases, and only one of them you can retreat to. Another if you spend some manpower.

94. the Jagpanthers did not exist...because they have the Jagdpanzer4.

95. In 1942 the supreme commanded dictated that MG42s could only be used in the Eastern Front, while all MG34s be taken to France.

96. There was only ever one variant of the SdKfz 231, and that is the Puma.

97. M1 Carbines can suppress infantry, but every other hand-held automatic weapon cannot. And only when fired by rear echelon forces.

98. Only the Americans have figured out how to exit a vehicle in combat conditions.

99. Jaeger infantry are not allowed to pick up anything, including medical kits.

100. Infantry guns are only used like AT guns.

101. The Americans and the Germans in the west did not have any snipers.

102. All combat in WW2 started with light skirmishes and then evolved into heavier and heavier combat as commanders where given more resources as the fight developed. No general offensive was ever done.

103. During WW2 the Germans developed IR lights that could see through obstacles by means of projecting them through the 5th dimension.

104. Getting airsupport was not a matter of what kind of resistance you where facing but how good the contacts you had with the airforce.

105. German heavy TD units where manned by psycics who could aim without seeing the enemy, their guns where so strong they would pierce a concrete building, a hillside aswell as the front of an IS-2.

106. Said TD crews would have a psycic freakout everytime their tank got hit, by anything.

107 American Armour doctrine was for trained tank crews to dismount, grab Thompsons and attack as infantry.
Meanwhile the tank would be crewed by a mixed detachment of clerks and commanded by a supply sergeant

111 American Supply officers were not allowed to open the weapon racks unless the commander wanted them to open a CERTAIN rack. Sometimes the men would never get the BAR or Bazooka they wanted or needed, because the commander forgot to give the order to open the racks.

112 Soldiers were not allowed to use grenades of ANY kind until the commander universally escalated the battle efforts to allow their use.

113 Every american captain always brought two bazooka teams, and their trusty Thompsons into the thick of the battle ignoring the Battalion CO's orders to NOT participate in frontline combat, due to their importance.

They would kill a tank or two,and then the battalion commander would radio in and request that they get there ass back to the rear to supervise the production of vehicles, much to their dismay. They would supervise for a while, and then sneak back into the action.

114 Some american officers were track stars in college, and would always sprint like crazy all over the battlefield, their men struggling to keep up with them.

Ignoring the innumerate Burts....

115 An OKW ATG could be manhandled by three men and made to fire from a first floor window,
without the gun being dismantled

116 Axis infantry in 1944/45 were such sharpshooters, that they disdained the idea of using
snipers

117 OKW ATG crews were so well-trained, that they could dismantle their heavy weapon and
retreat faster than the Pak teams in their Ostheer equivalent, and faster indeed than their
OKW MG or Mortar team counterparts

The think that I learned about ww2 from this game is that, that Relic knows about ww2 like an Eskimo about central Afrika. All that Relic knows, is that there where the ´Bad ones´ and the ´Good ones´, all they knowledge cames from Wikipedia. LOL :)

regarding that study...what a load of total bs, there is no possible way to prove this "theory" with a survey of statistics. what sane person would be shooting over the heads of people trying to kill you. also i know arty killed far more people in world war 2, than small arms and most of the vets of world war 2 were in the rear with the gear not combat effective troops. do people even question what they read anymore.

I applaud you on your efforts to really dissect the study in an objective way and point out all its flaws on a case by case basis. You are proving yourself to be quite the intellectual here, a man of intellectual merit to the highest order. Your proper grammar only helps your case.

But I must disagree with your thorough, objective analysis that is in no way a case of you getting pissed off when reality says otherwise about your worldview because fundamentally, war is humans killing humans, and that does not go down well on the subconscious level, and most troops weren't at the front, while those that were were quickly rotated out, at least in the case of the Allies in both world wars
