World Builder: "save as" function not working?

I can't successfully perform a "save as" from an existing map. It creates the files but then closes the current map, and won't open the new one. I've tried it with multiple maps. Whatever the problem is, it's recent, as saving works in progress under various file names has been my regular practice up to this point.

Anyone else encountering this error? Is there something I should be looking for in the Debug Window that might explain it?

Well just save, copy and rename the files.

I will simply lol at anyone expecting such a change to a 2 year old general use infantry.
Equally possible are pershing for USF, IS-3 for soviets or ober nerf for OKW.

Yeah, I did that and it works temporarily, but there seems to be more going on; while I can open the copy, once I save and close it I cannot open it again. And now I'm realizing that there are other maps I can no longer open, including ones made before the update (but not all of them), so evidently the "save as" function is not the problem here.

The more appropriate question: Why won't some maps open in World Builder?

I had a issue like this, it had to do with the map description text, i think you're not allowed to use line breaks. This might help you? To fix this you can open Info Data and remove the content of the scenariodescription.

Now if I can just solve my exported maps not showing up in-game problem...

Funny thing, but when i used line breaks, it also did not show up ingame

So write a description without line breaks and re-export.
