Moderators reserve the right to remove posts that toe the line and are viewed as disruptive or unwelcome to the forum. Moderators use their best insight when making decisions regarding rules and users.
If you see a post that you believe is problematic, click the "report" button on the bottom of the post and select a reason. Moderators can see unresolved reports significantly easier than browsing the entire forum.
Chapter 1 - Creating content (posting to the forums, shoutbox, replays, and trending)
Users breaching a section of this chapter for the first time or in a minor way will be warned.
For excessive breaching or repeatedly breaching a section of this chapter, the user may be banned, with increasing durations if subsequent offences occur with a poor history.
1.1 Spamming
- Creating multiple posts/threads/trending/replays/shouts with the same content is not allowed.
- This also includes creating false reports. (reporting posts without a proper reason)
- Any duplicate content may be removed and in excessive cases the user may be banned.
- All spambots will be permanently banned.
1.2 Flaming
- Flaming is a hostile and insulting interaction between Internet users, often involving the use of profanity. This is not allowed.
- Any content directly or indirectly related to flaming may be removed and in excessive cases the user may be banned.
1.3 Defamation of other users
- Calling names or insulting other users by referring to them with a degrading/humiliating name is not allowed.
- This also includes being disrespectful to developers.
- Any content directly or indirectly related to defamation of other users may be removed and in excessive cases the user may be banned.
1.4 Excessive trolling
- Excessively seeking attention or attempting to provoke other users is not allowed.
- Any content directly or indirectly related to excessive trolling may be removed and the user may be banned.
1.5 Offensive content
- Any content that is considered as offensive may be removed and the user may be banned.
- As an example, posting pictures of violent criminals without a proper reason is not allowed, since it might cause offence.
1.6 Racism

- Any content directly or indirectly related to racism may be removed and the user may be banned.
1.7 Sexism

- Any content directly or indirectly related to sexism may be removed and the user may be banned.
1.8 Homophobia

- Any content directly or indirectly related to homophobia will be removed and the user may be banned.
1.9 Pornography
- Any content that is directly or indirectly interpretable as pornographic material is not allowed.
- Any content directly or indirectly related to pornography will be removed and the user may be banned.
2.0 Illegal content
- Posting illegal content, discussing illegal content, or linking to illegal content is not allowed.
- This includes content that involves unconstitutional symbols and material. For example the swastika is an illegal symbol in Germany.
- Any content that is directly or indirectly linked to illegal content will be removed and the user may be banned.
2.1 Harmful content
- Any content that is intended to cause harm to the service or to other users, for example posting content that breaks the site formatting or causes extremely long page load times.
- Any content intended to cause harm to the service or to the other users may be removed and the user may be banned.
2.2 Cheating
- Cheating is absolutely not allowed and anyone found to be cheating, or posting links to third party cheats, may be banned. The same applies to those who publicly accuse others of cheating.

- If you are unsure about whether or not you should post a controversial item about bad behaviour on COH2.ORG, it is always best to PM a COH2.ORG Moderator or Admin, to ask first.
- Note: COH2.ORG will take any action considered necessary, when dealing with bugs/exploits which impact upon game balance by favouring players using them, which enforcement includes, but is not limited to making threads, posts, replays and stream links invisible, and/or locking them, including reporting users to Relic Entertainment.
- Our main goal is to favour fair competition and to increase the popularity of the game to a point where it to reach eSports levels: disallowing bugs/exploits use is simply the natural consequence of our goal.
2.2.1 Code of Heroes
- Regarding Relic and Sega's ruleset called the Code of Heroes, CoH2.org does not enforce Relic and Sega's ruleset ingame. We enforce our ruleset on CoH2.org only and potentially will relay information to Relic. If you feel someone has violated the Code of Heroes ingame and you wish to do something about it, submit a report to Relic at enforcement@relic.com via email. 2.3 Non-disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Using COH2.ORG to breach an NDA by spreading classified information or graphics is not allowed.
- Any content that is directly or indirectly related to breaching an NDA or content that is purposely phrased to look like an NDA breach may be removed and the user may be banned.
Users breaching an NDA will be reported to Relic Entertainment.
2.4 Politics
- Political discussions must remain on topic of the thread, and must relate to World War 2 or tie into the era.
- Cold War era poltiics can be discussed as long as they relate to the World War era.
- All politics past 1991 are forbidden.
- Any content directly or indirectly related to politics may be removed and the user may be banned.
Chapter 2 - User Accounts
1.1 User Names
- User names may not break any rules listed in Chapter 1.
- If a user name violates the rules listed in Chapter 1, the user will be warned and the user must request a new name.
- If the user does not follow the warning, the user will permanently banned.
- If the user later contacts and agrees to change their user name, the user's ban will be lifted.
1.2 User Avatars
- User avatars may not break any rules listed in Chapter 1.
- If a user avatar violates the rules listed in Chapter 1, the user will be warned and the user must set a new avatar.
- If the user does not follow the warning, the avatar in question will be removed by an Admin.
- In excessive cases the avatar in question may be removed immediately.
- Note: This section also includes Steam avatars used in playercards. COH2.ORG may prevent the display of any Steam avatar that is breaking the rules listed in Section 1.
1.3 User Signatures
- User signatures may not break any rules listed in Chapter 1.
- If a user signature violates the rules listed in Chapter 1, the user will be warned and the user must edit their signature.
- If the user does not follow the warning, the signature in question will be edited by an Admin.
In excessive cases the signature in question may be immediately edited by an Admin.
1.4 User Livestreams
- Livestreams and their content, titles, and aliases may not break any rules listed in Chapter 1.
- If a livesteam violates the rules listed in Chapter 1, the user will be warned and the user must either remove the livestream or edit the livestream settings so that it no longer violates the rules.
- If the user does not follow the warning, the livestream in question will be removed by an Admin.
In excessive cases the livestream in question may be immediately removed by an Admin.
1.5 Multiple Accounts
- Creating multiple accounts is not allowed and all multiple accounts will be permanently banned.
- Creating a new account while being banned will increase the duration of the original ban.
- If the duration of the original ban is permanent, an Admin will perform an IP Address based ban if necessary.
- Creating a new account while NOT being banned will result in a warning or a ban.
COH2.ORG's philosophy is to allow open discussion amongst our members. Disrupting that open discussion by spamming, flaming, excessively trolling, creating more than one account, posting offensive content, being disrespectful to developers or other users and behaviors similar to these are not tolerated and will be dealt with by moderators with suspensions, or in egregious situations, bans. Banned users will not be allowed to take part in the events that we host such as tournaments and Sunday Night Fights. We have a zero-tolerance policy for racism, sexism, homophobia, pornography, and defamation of other users. Use common sense when you post.
