This one is a poor man's Pershing but better speed thicker armor.
It can easily wipe or demolish cramped units.
Also P4 tank can't penetrate in its armor let alone Rakeeten.
Recommended tank vs OKW. Cheaper Pershing A++

Well you're not wrong overall. Rak just has a hard time, but can still pen with a 62% chance at far. The proper OKW counter to Comet is not Rak however, it's JP4/Panther and if necessary HEAT. Comet players do not like the Command Panther at all, either.

I would not call Comet a better Pershing, but it has very decent price performance metric. Having better armor by +20 is not that much, with pershing having +180HP. The penetration is also quite a bit lower on a comet.
Same with AOE, M26 is simply on a different level. But comet's vetted speed is amazing, especially with bliz (warspeed?).
This unit and commandos makes playing Tommies enjoyable for me.

Comet is one of the best tanks in the game, overall. It's a budget friendly heavy tank with good overall AI/AT. Nothing special but gets the job done, especially in pairs. Good utility too and in a good upgrade path (vision over hit tanks is a Godsend in teamgames)
