Minimap missing in Steam Workshop (screenshot inside)

I made a new map, everything works fine (played 10 matches with friends already).
The only thing that is bothering me is that there is no minimap on Steam. The in-game minimap is there and the map works fine, but there is no minimap on Steam/Workshop side of things. How can I fix this? I tried a bunch of random stuff already but to no avail :/

This is a bug in the 64bit version of the game. You have to switch to the 32bit legacy beta and then upload the mod.

  • Right Click Company of Heroes 2 on Steam
  • Select Properties
  • Navigate to the Betas Tab
  • Select “legacy_32bit” from the drop town
  • Close the Properties window
  • Your game should now patch to the legacy version

Thanks for your input. I will try that today.

Can I update the map using the 64 bit/default client later without effing up the minimap again or do I need to patch to 32 bit client every time I push a change?

Yes you can use the 64bit version to update in the future, it won't remove the preview image.
