Hi,

I would like to know your input for this tank. Is it worth it? How is it vs AI? What about AT (vs other mediums)?

I don't see this commanders use often in 1v1s but it seems good (dshka is good, cons repair is good, m5 with guards is situational, not sure about m4c though)...

or is t34/76 just better price/performance wise.

Thanks

the m4c is a pretty good tank and clearly superior to the t34/76.

its main gun AI, though not spectacular on a per shot basis, is better than that of the t34 and ost pIV for example thanks to the high ROF. add to that the .50 cal pintle upgrade and it is quite potent against infantry compared to the other alternatives in the soviet medium tank roster.

with pen values of 140/120/100 the m4's AT capabilities are also nothing to snuff at and the HVAP toggle allows it take on even heavier targets to good effect.

still, it only has 640 hp and lacks the vehicle crew of the usf equivalent. hence the t-34/85 is usually the better option, as is can do almost everything the m4c can, but has more hp and armor.

Worth it, it's as good as T34/76 in terms of AI and better with vet + 2nd. Though it's AT is less reliable than t34/85's but significantly better than t34/76.

The m4c sherman is the exact copy of the arguably best medium tank in the game, the 76mm sherman from usf mech doc. The vet2 reload bonus and vet1 radio net is a big advantage in armor battles.
The doctrine itself lacks a supporting ability for that matter like 'combined arms' from usf mech doc or 'mark target' which is probably the biggest flaw of the commander. Most docs that rely on premium medium tanks can support their superior tanks in a push with either off maps or buffs.

Thats said, lend lease can hold its own with its main selling point the m4c and dshka. The rest of the doc is situational but uselefull nethertheless.
Its current use in the ml5 indicates that lend lease is just behind top meta commander in power level

Note that you get a mobile and fast smoke dispenser with the m4c which is unique with this commander for soviets

I wonder if the new and improved Ass guards will elevate this commander.
