I'm excited to announce a tournament for the "noobs" by the biggest noob in CoH2: me... skippyfx.

SETUP
4v4
16 Teams
Axis vs Allies
Double Elimination (Rounds 1 + 2)

PRIZES
1st Place: $400 USD, (4x) Total War: Three Kingdoms [PC Game] and (4x) 100k Supply Coins.
2nd Place: $100 USD and (4x) 50k Supply Coins.
3rd Place: (4x) T-Shirts and (4x) 25k Supply Coins.

PLAYER REQUIREMENTS
All participating players must have less than 2k hours played in Company of Heroes 2 on their Steam account and must not have a 1v1 or 2v2 rank lower than 500.
SCHEDULE
February 22 & 23 @ 8am PST / 5p CET - Group Stages
February 29 - @ 8am PST / 5p CET - Playoffs
March 7 - @ 8am PST / 5p CET - Finals

Excellent tournament, very enjoyable to watch on Youtube.

It would be interesting to take the stats from the first 2 games of each bracket, hence the same players on the same maps once as Axis and once as Allies, to compare the damage done, k/d ratio and the proportion of AI versus AT damage for each faction.

Should clearly show the relative strengths of each faction from a balance perspective...

Stats from a 4v4 game, arty slug fest will definitely tell us the state of balance..

Why haven't we been doing this since the beginning!

mfw your tank gets in some bs 180 spin by hitting a literal bush, exposing your rear armor to vet 3 pgrens with anti-armor heat seeking, gravity defying, hand held missile launchers.
