So in this game, we pretty much dominated most of the map until tanks started rolling and we got stretched thin. They both spammed jp4s everywhere, which we could deal with, but then one guy calls in a JT and we kinda just had to give in to it or go around to other sectors and our tanks couldn't function very effectively. I would have gotten more PIATs or some at guns, but he always kept his JT back on the hill with the two flakHQs and had isgs and walking stuka, so I didn't want to waste mp on an at gun that would die after firing two rounds. Is there anything we could have done differently in this situation or in general? What can counter a decently/even marginally supported JT? Any advice would be very appreciated.

Don't blame yourself man. Double OKW in 2v2 is atm just broken af and requires 0 skill to pull off

pretty much nothing. vetted OKW units give so much sight, this makes flanking attacks with medium tanks extremely rough. Your only hope is indirect fire spam, or direclty attack the JTs with priests and use the moment when the JT is damaged and needs to re-locate for a flanking attack.

You need to pray that the axis player is very sloppy and loses the majority of his almost immortal vet 3-5 inf to your indirect fire. Then you can hit their heavy tanks!

But if the OKW player has half a brain, it's usually gg wp.

This map is too long and narrow for Allies to ever beat double OKW

just be winning already before it comes on the field :).

i found out that when enemies get JT when things are neck to neck and if you do not have enough to engage it immediately as in INF to decrew hidden raks and two fireflies more tanks (doesnt have to be AT) and support weapons to cover the flank while your tank forces and assault INFs charge ahead... try to get the right ingredients asap - and if you have the right units already, go for it asap as long as the positioning is god damn awful for you.

what I am saying is that you are dealing with a time bomb - longer JT is on the field, less and less chance you are getting back exponentially...

Just noticed people posted back on this.

So basically you are saying just yolo it right away. IIRC by the time he got that JT in that match they already had spammed a bunch of jp4s. That was one of the times I wish I just had disposable ass t34s to bum rush it with a big health pool since even my comet was gonna get penned all the time anyway.

I think the only time I ever killed a JT was today when the guy called it in and straight off the bat literally drove through a hedgerow right into the middle of my army on red ball. I had two fireflies and hit it with rockets from one (not enough muni for two because of commando demos :p) and piats from a RE squad, but it still killed both my fireflies because one got stuck and the other got shot by a p4 nearby while flanking and 2 or 3 shots bounced even at point blank, and it luckily got sniped by a teammates su85 somehow right before it escaped. It made me mad that he messed up so bad and still killed both my fireflies and almost got away with it though.
