Is this a Confirmed bug that it doesn't trigger?
gg, with how often it happens it seems to be it's not bug but intended; if it gets shut down by AA or of the drops don't land properly (similar to gliders or paratroopers)

Wouldn't have been shot down in this case, but if it is Case 2 that's pretty poor design because unlike a glider or paratrooper you CAN'T dictate the exact landing vector/location, you can only select a base sector that's relatively open but even then it's still going to be RNG. At any rate not using this ability till it's fixed or changed.

I have seen the AT gun from it land inside a USF base in 2v2. Once crewed it was unable to fit through the gap so it couldn't leave the base
