So I got together with some friends who have never played OKW before or very little of saying that it was "OP" as a counter challenge I said that as a person who has never played Americans before in their life, could pull out a win or give the opposing team a stupidly hard run for their money.

The following replay shows my first game as an American player, you'll notice a brutally efficient start, a couple guys lost their connection, a rocky middle, and then a decisive end to the game.

Now it didn't occur until after the game was over that the other team was mostly new players. But we'll say that this was about their 3rd to 5th game in.

I fail to see how this has any bearing on how easy it is to play a faction, given the fact that three of the players on the opposing team have a combined total of 20 games, and two of of your own team have very few games between them.

This just tells me, it's noobs learning how to play the game. You just happen to have less noobs.

Play a good axis team, then come back and tell us how easy USF or Soviets are in big team games.

One of the players there was definitely a veteran with at least one prestige and some change.

Still I'll admit to it, it felt a bit like seal clubbing. Doesn't mean that for a first time go at Americans that it wasn't easy enough to completely wreck face. I may as well have been as noob as any of them with zero experience in the tech structure of the American faction I had to play it completely by ear.

What does a random 4v4 prove about balance? It still doesn't give you any basis to talk about Allied balance in the slightest.

It proves that any jackass with absolutely zero experience can pick it up and wreck face, win again against the "unbeatable Germans".

Now begone troll!

Sierra, pick a mate 2v2 vs me and Dusty. You can play allies and pick any currently available map on the 2v2 automatch system. We can upload the replays after our games :)

Yep. Lets do this. Guarantee we'll smash you in 15-20 minutes with "underpowered" Axis against "OP" Allies.

That's funny, you think I'm saying Allies are OP? No I think very specific units overperform. Rifleblobs, Shocktroopers, ISU-152's, Snipers, things like that.

Edit: Let me get a few things done and I'll take that challenge. Romeo and I as a team eh?

I can wait until you get home Romeo, no big rush. It's not like the game is going anywhere.

Please play it in the beta as allies have been buffed, so they are extra OP now, and I'll also be able to come watch it live.

I mean, to be fair - double Soviet is the strongest 2v2 combination for sure. But to make such sweeping claims as Sierra has made, they must be... tested... :D

"Sweeping claims" I'm just saying any asshat with relative ability can play Allies decently and provide great headache or even win a game.

Also I don't have the Open Beta installed.

Damn that's a shame, I'll just have to wait for the upload then.

I hope you guys do it soon though, as there is only a week left until the next patch, and there might not be time to watch the game.
It's going to be a long one, considering how easy it is to give the axis a headache or even win.

You're trying to prove US is OP by beating complete noobs on your first game as US, in 4v4. I was being sarcastic, because it is hard to take such a claim seriously.

No no no not at all good Sir.

I was trying to prove that they are clearly NOT underpowered and perfectly capable of fighting the "OP" Germans.

If anything I was trying to show Germany isn't this godlike entity that's unbeatable like so many claim.
