5 pios, into stormtroopers and a fast Ostwind :bananadance:

No t1/t2 building until after T3 is built. Stormies replace PGrens/Grens. Opponent goes t1/t2 into call in's.

Ignore the sloppy squad losses at times, tis the slowdowns I get after a few games, I swear! :p

Edit: Vs USF on Urban maps, go 4 pios into quick Scout cars and then t3. On open maps, don't do this :foreveralone:

I reckon if yous both rush for t3, with the saved 25 fuel from no buildings as Ostheer initially, you can probably get a P4 around the same time as the 1st T34 hits on maps like this :snfCHVGame:

Pios with sprint, pity they were nerfed ages ago, or this would be serious business :p

Well with a flamethrower they're still not half bad.

Nice play though, interesting strategy. Might give this a cast.

Very cool to see this different kind of play...but I still dont see why you would want to skip T1. Even if its doable and funny cuz it different...its just so damn useful!!

But I have to say...this was cool! The way you used 2 squads with the sprint ability from the Storm Doctrine, smart stuff. The Soviet did try to wait and react to what you were doing (he was obviously confused), going with the Guards Doctrine, and the mines!! evrywhere!. Still, you might have had more trouble vs ISU or IS2 commander at the end.

i jsut started playing ostheer i play US mostly your strat seems to be the best way ( i am terrible with grenadier and support weapons) im having fair amount of success , i jsut use sprint and run right past them and cut them off instead of engaging and hide behind building to do it again and again till they realize it , I find 2 pioneers charging in can take down RF squad and suffer 1 or 2 model loss even with REs firing, + early pioneers give you excellent map control or atleast annoy as you can jsu trun away if you see shocks.

it forces them to use light vehicles where the stormtrooper shrecks come in handy but its tough to pull it off. once they realize what you are upto.

I'll give it a look later lad and see if I can offer some suggestions that may help :)

Edit: Also I suggest you try the standard Ostheer builds and watch some live streams/replays, we all have to start somewhere when learning a new faction/game!
