It's pretty effective against snipers and doesn't confine your OKW player to go straight to JT making the OKW team a lot more versatile.
Build order is
Grens, HMG, Grens Grens. Build 2 fuel points and get Scout Car ASAP. Use the scout car to keep snipers off of the OKW player whilst he can tech up to the T4 building.
Using the Jaeger armor Doctrine, make sure your SC has a scope. The range is awesome and will give you free and effective recon against any sniper movement before they can deal manpower damage to the axis factions.
Do not rush to T3 even though you have fuel power. Make sure your army diversly contains mortars and AT guns (at least 2) to deal with any armor pushes.
My late game strategy changes every game so I can't write about that. But early game seems to be decent enough for me in holding off allied sniper SC starts. Forcing your opponent to get AT nades and molotovs is also excellent in halting their early tank game.
