I hope you watch this replay. It will show you that your game is not ready for prime-time. There is so much wrong with your game at the moment and I feel your turning a blind eye....well maybe a GREEN eye $$$$$
Your game is not ready for ESL or ESports or anything like that. I am very sorry to burst your bubble, I know you have been spending so much time working on the US single player campaign and all but I though I would share a replay with you so you can see what is currently wrong with your game as MOST people play multi-player!!
Rifles are to cheap..they are easily spammable and are to effective for their cost. Watch this replay and see what they can do. Regardless of green cover or flanking routes or MICRO.......rifles beat both Volks and Grens hands down. This is game breaking and needs to be fixed before you start your Esports journey.
I honestly do not know what it is called but the little US tank US81 or whatever is crazy OP, people spam them because they know they kill more than they should. Watch that little tank in this replay. See what it does. Maybe it needs an accuracy nerf or shot CD or something.
I save and wait for a Pak-43, this is a doctrinal unit and costs alot, it needs to shoot fast, rotate faster, have better defense or something to make it last longer on the field. Watch how fast it dies in this replay. I don't even think it got more than a kill or two. I love building those huge guns but I wish they actually did something. If your game is going for ESL mode pro-Esports you want the crowd going...."OMG he built a Pak-43 GG omg what gonna happen". Not....GG allies win axis built a pak.
I mean really I could go on and on and on but I think your get my drift here. My ally is a good player. Tamriel and I played I think like 6-7 games together today and did quite well until this DOUBLE US GAME.
Grens need somthing to help them, Pgrens should be UNNERFED. I'm not quite sure what else is wrong with Ostheer atm but I'm, sure the community might have a few ideas to help me out. Right now at the start of the game I'm like ..."build fuel caches KK"??
I love your game. I play it every day. It is for the most part fun. But there is so much wrong with it before it is ready for Prime Time. Please for the sake of Jupiter's Cock can you please address the issues that the community pukes out every day? We really really like the game but it is so not ready for ESL or the pro scene or any thing like that.
*disclaimer - I'm not a super pro player but I'm in no way a bad player---everyone could improve their game, but that is not what this post is about. This is about the total unbalanced game that is present on the live servers. Until something changes....this game will die a quick death as it is not ready for prime time and the ESL folks will LAUGH IT OUT OF EXISTENCE!!!!

Lol balance issues will never be a reason for a game not being an esport. Every "esport" has had patches where some unit(s) were completely OP but the competitive players worked around it rather than uninstalling.
These are reasons why game isn't an esport:
1) RNG has really high potential to turn games immediately. Full HP heavy tank getting engine destroyed from one faust or AT nade is the best example. Even though Dota 2 has RNG, the worst case scenario dice roll is no where near as crippling as a worst case CoH2 dice roll.
2) No spectator tools/obs mode
3) WFA is interesting but the doctrine design from the original factions was and still is horrendous
4) Super heavy tanks make the game lamer than CoH1 for a few reasons. Tanks like Elefant and ISU have too much range and not enough agility. Just park them in the back and rape stuff. CoH1 heavies had long'ish range and slow'ish speed, but they were fast enough to be more rewarding to good micro players rather than simply parking them in the back of the map. Also the fact that you can get multiple of them but at the cost of fuel makes the mid-late game less diverse. Lots of players favor saving to spam the end game units rather than choosing which T3/T4 units to make.
5) No ladder league/season system. You have to come here just to check your stats ffs
Even if all that stuff was addressed I think CoH is too niche of a title to be an "esport" but it might be enough to make the game a worthy successor in the eyes of the vcoh vets that stopped playing coh2
