People struggling against the USF, especially the rifle commander, will love this game. It shows how to counter infantry spam with an overwhelming number of combined infantry units. Key in this game are engineers with flamers and assault grens. Without them it would have been very difficult to swiftly win many engagements.

dude, never go assault grens, they are just useless, always. Get 3 grens, 2 MG's, scoutcar, later maybe 2 PG's and pak, wait when you reach 6 CP and use easy gg button - Stug E, USA have no chance against this

You could clearly see that on multiple occasions the sprinting assault grens were able to quickly close in on rifle squads and force them off the field. Don't be so HIV negative about assault granadiers.

it was luck or something like that, vs decent guy assault grens can't do much, in game vs Hans on Stalingrad map where i used some assault grens and where this maps has a lot of green cover i couldn't do much vs even conscripts, only in early when i catched them in close range but later, even on vet they were useless

No luck there, it just sounds like you did not know how to use them. You could see clearly in this game how 1 assault grenadier unit introduced a different dynamic to OST infantry battles. Instead of being defensive and reacting to your opponent you can use assault grens to force your opponent to react to you. Often that means forcing a unit in cover to retreat without having to use the expansive and unpredictable rifle grenade for example.

i watched the game, the ass grens did well, and you used them right, sprinting to get in close but i think a better player they may not work as well, especially when it gets to mid game

Thanks for the feedback James. In addition, to sprinting I put them behind vision blocks to ambush rifles, which complemented their strong point.
I defiantly agree that a better player would have made them harder to use. For example this player never unlocked grenades. I guess he was so consumed with saving fuel for his shermans e8. There are allot of other things that he could have done to improve his position, but again he was so focused on making this commander work he failed. The fact that I was floating 1000mp at one point confirms that.
I think that brings me to an important point, many average players are beating better players because of this commander's abilities. It's nice to see how to beat them without having to be overly defensive.
