How the hell did i loose

I had this guy completely beat and he hits the i win button (king tiger) which defeats a huge combined arms force

Ok it's very easy to see why you lost. You let him make the KT. He was floating the most MP I've ever seen in a 1on1 game. When you saw where his HT was setup there was no reason NOT to attack it and kill it. He wasn't capping anywhere, floating massive amounts of MP up to 2700 at one point and the pop cap was 74 to 34 at one point in your favor but you just sat back waiting.

I don't have anything valuable to say because you actually EASILY won the game at 16 min but lost at 33 min. Your pop went for 2x his to being half of his in 5 min. You can't just attack the KT with easy 8's and M10s. I know he had some shreks but man, rewatch this. He had 4 troops practically the whole game until you attacked with the Sherman and then he made an AT gun. The Luchs tank you wiped out. Right after that you should have stole the tank and bum rushed his whole base....done. That would have been the GG right there. This guy was very novice. You essentially let him win by not attacking. Re-Watch it from his side using fog of war on and you will see how easy you could have beat him. Also...very careless with the Stuart. Un-needed death.

Since when did getting a King Tiger become "I win button"? The sheer amount of resources involved in simply getting an opportunity to get it (and then actually getting it) is ridiculous and very hard to pull off. Plus, it does take a bit of skill to utilize it properly.

And as noted above, it is not the King Tiger who won the game for the opponent but simply too-passive play by you.

you lost because you didn't preserve your units. you could have killed the king tiger if you had deployed at least one AT gun and then flank it with your tanks (you had 3 easy8, that's enough to beat a KT).

Are you a beginner? You made lots of mistakes.

1. You sent in 1 squad on there own vs 2-3 squads, then they'd get wiped, instead of waiting so you have 3 squads together. If you can't win a battle run, you pick the battles you can win.

2. You should from the beginning try and denie them from fuel just whiting there fuel is enough. You take fuel from OBW they'll be in a impossible fight.

3. You bought a Stuart vs bazooka + flak, a Stuart is good with its special abilities and you didn't kite, you didn't have any units with your Stuart you just rushed it in.

4. You wasted loads of fuel on buying a captain, Stuart, major = 240 you could have saved and got 2 Shermans with that early/mid game = gameover

5. You bought no MGs to cover/stop retaking the stars or fuel.

6. White Phos shouldn't be used on moving units unless your about to attack, best on at guns so they have to displace, or base.

7. Your captain is a very good unit you never used him in field.

8. You would have lost sooner if your enemy know how to play he was floating 3000 manpower.

9. When you had 2 tanks you should have taken out his T3 base and white the fuel.

10. KT have very good armor at the front you where always shooting the front of it, you needed to flank the tank and shoot the side or rear. Use a crappy tank or anything to park behind it blocking it from kiting out. Tank Destroyer on vet 1 gets a ability to do more damage per shot. Also remember KT are slow so they cant be at all three stars at once.

11. Always be harassing the points, there was a while when the middle star was white and your captain was just outside it standing there.

12. Use a unit to scout or flares ahead before charging in with a tank and always keep some units with tanks.

13. Think what they have and buy the right to counter it not just think if I buy tanks that will win. West units with Bazooka bad vs Mgs or rifle + flamers. West units with Bazookas good vs tanks.

14. COH2 is a if your not attacking/harassing you should be healing game, its not a build bases build defenses game, for a long time you had a blob defending the middle star. You could have attacked with all your units and 3-4 tanks and completely killed them, but you waited and the Bazooka West took out your units one by one.

Next time remember denying them of fuel and getting all stars ends the game quicker so there be no time for a KT. You could have won that game early on.

Many opportunities to win....just way to passive. You had entire map but let him just sit there. He wasn't even massing an army. He was just sitting there waiting for the King Tiger.

The best question is....why did you NOT attack him with your tanks earlier when he had nothing? He literally had 4-5 units compared to your multitude of units doing nothing. Just bad play from both sides except he had KT on his side. I'm sure you actually learned ALOT from this game actually. You gotta know that anyone who plays like that guy is easy to beat. Wait till you face guys that play very offensively....then you will not see a KT most likely and you will lose even faster.
