I didn't realize rank 60 something 1v1 in a video game with ~300 active 1v1 players was that large of an accomplishment.

I've played JellyDonut many times before, never had a mean spirited trash talk issue with him.... and I've won.... maybe he just doesn't like MTW?

I've also played RubberGrubber many times and haven't experienced any trash talk.

As far as Abuse goes, for what it's worth, VonIvan stated the only 3 abusers in COH2 are himself, OMGPOP, and Cataclaw.

There are units that are really cost effective, and that changes patch to patch, and I would hardly put Maxims at the top of that list this patch. So everyone that is calling Jelly an abuser for using maxim spam sounds like they are just being crybaby's tbh.

Cost effective this patch: M3, T-34/85, Soviet MINES(this one is more of a BUG, but still), German Scout Car, Tigers, con spam/gren spam.

Rifle nades still rape maxims/force retreat, flamer pio in halftrack, german scout car, mortar halftrack, flanking Assgrens...... you have many options of dealing with maxim spam.

EDIT: Just watched replay - imo the main mistake was making snipers. German Snipers, SADLY, have NEVER been worth building in this game (Barton Ostrupen + sniper spam might be the ONLY exception, and this was back when OSturpen were OP not now). Russian squad sizes and the fact a unit sneezes at them and they die just make them utterly worthless in most cases. in THEORY snipers should counter T2, but in practice due to unit balances issues they do not.

I've seen Jelly trash talk in game a bit but it was more like...instead of giving the other play credit, he just said I had a bad game or I gave that game away...etc. I think he's more rude in these particular forums than in game. I prefer top players to be guys like Kodachrome.... He was a very nice guy to me...played with me several times...never seen him get mad about anything and we lost more than we won in COH1 because he was just having fun. There are much worse guys than Jelly though....you just won't see them posting replays because they aren't that good but rage like nobody's biz.
