Elite Troops Doctrine really is superior... a 45 minute 1v1 in a medium-playing skill level (I'm ranked about 1,500) I beat back heavy Soviet Armor then waves of T34s (that's a bit of a hyperbole. a VP race ensued all the while, which ended in a surrender on the Soviet part.
Very interesting early game, with some sniper v. sniper action, and a triple (or quad?) Gren opening.
