Can anyone tell whats the purpose of close the pocket? What is this kind of ability.. Thats clearly broken... What s the purpose of it. There is no way to prevent it... since its enough for the enemy just to decap the point with sneaky sturmtroopers that have bazooka to kill caches plus they can also decap fast with vehicles. This ability must be reworked...It should be called only if the enemy cap the point at least.

Enemy team couldnt play at all ... whole game long. They couldnt micro, they couldnt fight, they couldnt control map, they couldnt do anything.They were loosing all their units... they wasted a ton of units and vehicles etc. In a game that they couldnt handle at all... they stole the victory just by using this cheat ability. How did they deserve to win??? The purpose of special abilities should be to punish the blobs,to punish camping... etc. Close the pocket vanishes all of your units all across the map in just few seconds.
How to prevent close the pocket? Fortifying all the back side points is impossible. Even if you build caches the Sturmtroopers have bazooka.

If you lose vs close the pocket --> L2P issue sorry.
A) check out the commanders in the loadingscreen
B) Normally he will use already the inf from this doc, so you will know he is close the pocket doc.
C) build caches on the cutoffs
D) Lay some mines! so he can't rush in
E) destroy buildings behind you, lay mines at the door, so you will notice
F) just have some inf to move to the strategy point, so you cancle his ability.

A,B) I knew from the beginning that he gonna close the pocket since this player always does this but there was no way to prevent it.
C) As I already mentioned building caches is not a solution at all since Stormtroopers have bazooka.
D) Yes I will lay mines all over the cut off area. Legit.
E) So focus on destroying buildings especially in maps that have plenty around the cut offs and do all this stuff instead of fighting the frontline is the solution.
F) Yes I will keep my units camping on the cut offs instead of fighting. Legit answer.
I know that the game must have some units that have abilities to harass enemy lines but in this scale is ridiculous. Close the pocket is an auto win button. The enemy team had no units; had no map control at all.... and they won just by hitting a button. Is this the purpose of special abilities?
I would never expect a troll answer by you since you are a leading member of the community and balance team.
As it seems balance team has not any sense of balance. Bao Liang is right.
