people shouldnot be afraid of the mods. Mods should be afraid of the people
Neither, actually. And just to clarify:this is not a political website.
We have the philosophy of a relaxed moderation policy. The revised and expanded rules/guidelines reflect this aspiration. . Everyone gets a new chance on COH2.ORG, no matter how they bahaved on a different site before.
However, harassment and trolling above a certain level will not be tolerated here. That is why some posts are invisibled. This does not exclude anyone! In fact, the whole moderation on COH2.ORG is extremely relaxed. Maybe 0.1% of the total amount of posts are moderated. Compare that to other sites, where you most likely would see a lot more posts being removed than you see here.
You may know about a few posts that are made invisible but not about others, so do not judge us on that.
Some people take their chance and become mature contributors here. Others take the chance to troll around and stretch the borders of our relaxed moderation.
The thing is: you really have to make an effort to cross the line here on COH2.ORG, but if you really try hard, you will get banned eventually.... Some people here try really hard, but even then, the time-outs are usually light, in comparison to the havoc and ill-feeling which has been caused.
That some people complain about 'Nazi moderation' afterwards anyway, is just natural. Every troll does it.
