The prize-pool is not fixed. Since all of the tournaments prizes come out of my pocket I'd first talk to the winners to make sure that my limited funds actually give them something they like. Stephenn recently was amazed at a German camouflage, Hans might want some Osttruppen-Giveaways to give his viewers the possibility to replay his strategy, ...
This tournament is mostly meant to check the maps, the veto mode and estimate the amount of work needed per game.

As Milka said, this is mostly going to be a trial run so that we can see how everything goes. In the future we plan to host tournaments that everyone/anyone can participate in that will also have small prize pools (probably ~$50 depending on donations and such). Also more community interest in tournaments in general makes it easier to get prize support.

Drawing ceremony:
Randomly drawing with randperm(8) via Matlab:
6 3 7 8 5 1 2 4
This draw would have resulted in no RtN vs RtN matches in the first round, which may look weird since we are hosting this tournament. This is why we decided for a redraw (which is quite similar for some reason).
Re-draw:
8 3 6 7 5 1 2 4
This means we have the following matches:
OMGPOP & CieZ vs Zarok & DrunkenGambit
FaHu & Dilophosaurus vs stoffa & wootlol
Cataclaw & Hans vs Raz & Con
Fridod & Diancécht vs Stephenn & IpKai
or Brackets: http://challonge.com/RtNInvitational
Coverage of the tournament will be announced here Most likely we will have live streams from players for some games, for others we will have shoutcasts. If possible the final will be live casted Priority is player comfort, so I have to talk to the finalists first.
