I mean this tank has totally lost its impact.
Jacksons and p-47 laugh at it.
Loses to is-2 everytime.And also to t-34/85.
If it loses to all enemy lategame armor what's the point.It seems like this tank is simply incapable of doing anything without being babysitted around by paks the whole game.
No wonder all OH players going CAS as its the only doctrine thats competitive because it answers cheese and blob with cheese and blob.

It depends on which game mode you're playing.
In 4v4, I still find it useful and competitive as the commanders with tigers have other goodies that is quite useful too.
I believe it is not quite so in 1v1 and 2v2.

It's a punch taker. And while it's doing that, it gains vet. And after getting veterancy, it comes dangerous. It also wipes squads left and right if they are clumped.
To be honest, I find it using less and less but in 2vs2's, if other player goes for Panthers, then you have a dangerous combo. Also with Pak's of course but that requires some extra micro.

A Tiger will help you punch back and even the score against any earlier losses sustained in infantry kills, and usually help you claw back a little bit of ground. But as you say, the Allies can either be prepared for it, or catch up quick. From there it's generally speaking best to back tech to give you more equity against enemy armor. Just because it's the late game, you can't really flip a switch and play differently now that your Tiger has arrived, overall the Wehrmacht are a very defensive faction.
The Tiger isn't your, haha, you didn't defeat me in 21 minutes, thus I win, button. It's merely to supplement your current composition and give you the armor you need to mount a proper counter attack and provide an anchor which allows your core army more width and mobility on the field.

It's true that IS-2 and, 2x 85s usually beat a tiger. But Why shouldn't they? They are more expensive and are worse against inf than tiger. And ost has better options to support his tiger than soviets. Tiger supproted by Paks and schreks have advantage over IS-2/T34 85s supported by zis and ptrs. Jackson is dedicated tank destoryer and killing tanks is all it can do.

Just stepping in to point out the IS-2 is bad versus infantry meme isn't true, the Tiger and IS-2 have almost exactly the same accuracy and the IS-2 has higher AoE while fighting smaller squads.

Wrong - is-2 costs same as tiger.And outperforms it by a mile.
And is-2 plus zis wins vs tiger and pak.
The tiger can't beat any enemy lategame armor.Its incapable of fighting on its own,needs constant pak support wholegame to have ANY impact.
Reason CAS is now most common,because u can fight blob and cheese from allied side with same.

Yes, odd shot will land on inf and kill few models or wipe the squad, but most infantry kills done by IS-2 since its scatter was changed are being made by DSHK and you know this damn well.
If you're still stuck to your conviction, play the game, use IS-2 against infantry at range(because no one rams heavies into inf) and see how it fares in comparison to tiger which lands most shots accurately.
Oh, and make sure there are no shot blockers BEHIND the targeted squads, because it will set off the shot and skew the real performance perception.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Or the health back to 1280 or increase his dmg to 200. Rest is totaly fine! Made so many Tiger 1's to vet 2/3 at which they can even take on 2 IS-2s. If I'm not wrong I still got the replay of that one haha!
