That creeps armor clanging
And ironing ground the second tank,
Give me the strength, the mother – the land of my own,
To close the road, take action!
At full height the grass nevi arose.
Thunderstorm, not in a feminine look menacing.
Under the German tank, it fell,
Girl with a bunch of grenades.
Explosion.
That girl’s heart sacred
Barred the way to the enemy and again
So live immortal hero.

Valeria Gnarovskaya’s Feat by Marat Samsonov
With a bundle of grenades, Valya ran forward and threw herself right under the tracks of the leading Tiger. There was a big explosion and the tank ground to a halt. The second tank tried to turn back but it was too late. Valya’s comrades dashed up and put it out of action. Thanks to her self-sacrifice, the breach was quickly patched up, the assault beaten off and the regiment put on the offensive.
