Rewind Events Summer Cup - Season 1

Hello fellow CoH2 players!

We all got the time to get used to the new factions and maps, so it's about time to kick off some tourneys and leagues! The Summer Cup is a 1v1 tournament, both for the American timezone and the European timezone. The winners of each event will fight a final battle. The fight will decide who's the winner of The Summer Cup - Season 1. For each tournament there are 16 places -- 16 places in the European bracket and 16 in the American bracket. All factions are allowed.

• Coin-toss decides who chooses faction first, conducted by the tournament staff.

* No verbal abuse, this includes, sexism, racism, comments about sexual orientation or threats of violent or sexual attack, excessive chat spam, personal attacks; above all use common sense.
* No stream cheating (viewing opponents stream during a match), this will result in a DQ.
* No use of 3rd party programs (zoom mod, map hack, etc.) that gives you an unfair advantage against your opponent. Guilty parties will be DQ’d and banned from attending further events.
* Collusion will not be tolerated, any guilty parties will be DQ’d and barred from this event and attending further events.
* All bulletins allowed
* Referees reserve the right to ask you to change your name at any time for any reason.

Sign-Up Details

Sign-ups will be conducted via this thread in the forums. (Forums - Grand Hall - Coh2.org - Rewind Events - [1v1] Summer Cup - Season 1). Registration closes @ Monday 23:59 GMT.

Timeline

Players get to know their starting faction and opponent on Wednesday 30th July.

• Round 1: Wednesday 30th of July - Saturday 2nd of August
  
• Round 2: Sunday 3th - Tuesday 5th
  
• Round 3: Wednesday 6th - Thursday 7th
  
• Round 4: Friday 8th
  
• Round 5: Winner of EU against winner of AM bracket: Saturday 9th

Teams will have to chose the timezone they are in. I will sign in all players in Summer Cup EU/AM on Challonge. This will randomly generate a bracket, so the tournament staff can't influence who plays who.






Players can choose from the following map pool;

Decider:

The one with the most VP's after two matches can chose the decider-map. The other one can chose the starting faction.
